The state's Home Energy Rebates program accepts auditors with credentials such as BPI Building Analyst, BPI Energy Auditor or a RESNET HERS Rater certification. Any insulation, HVAC or electrical work that follows is done by contractors holding the LARA license for that trade, with permits where required.
