Build a current school and learning plan
Use Detroit Public Schools Community District's official enrollment and school resources for current grade, program, application, boundary, document, support, transportation, and deadline information. Other public, charter, private, early-childhood, special, adult, or postsecondary options have their own operators and requirements.
Visit or contact the school and compare the program to the student's needs. A directory result does not establish enrollment, admission, transportation, services, safety, or fit. Do not submit birth records, identification, education records, disability information, or custody documents through an unverified link or general public form.

Use live recreation and event sources
Detroit Parks and Recreation publishes current centers, parks, programs, athletics, aquatics, enrichment, camps, and special-event information. Availability, age groups, registration, fees, capacity, supervision, equipment, and accessibility can change by season and location. Confirm the active program before traveling or promising participation.
For an event, verify the organizer, venue, schedule, admission, age rules, accessibility, transportation, weather, and cancellation plan. Families should establish drop-off, pickup, emergency contact, medication, food, and reunification expectations. Rebuild Detroit does not supervise children or operate programs and events.

Connect health and support needs to the operator
The Detroit Health Department and Michigan service agencies maintain current health, food, maternal and child, environmental, emergency, and assistance information. Program eligibility and capacity are time-sensitive. Contact the operator for the actual intake and avoid relying on an old flyer or a third-party summary as proof that help is available.
Use emergency services for immediate danger and qualified medical care for health decisions. Do not post private family details to obtain a referral. Rebuild Detroit can organize links but does not determine eligibility, provide medical or legal advice, promise benefits, or replace a case worker, school, insurer, or public agency.

Coordinate transportation, access, and household logistics
A useful family plan includes the full trip, return, accessibility, supervision, cost, documents, and backup option. Check DDOT, SMART, school transportation, or the applicable provider for current service. Program participation does not automatically include transportation, equipment, meals, child care, or financial help.

Rebuild Detroit does not enroll a family, reserve space, transport participants, perform background checks, or guarantee program quality or outcomes.
