Employer resource center
Employer Resources
Employers can use this hub to move from a workforce question to the responsible public channel. It separates job posting, recruiting assistance, training, apprenticeship, and career-event decisions so a business does not mistake a directory page for an application or completed service request.
Platform inventory
Operate from one employer inventory
Employer profiles, job submissions, approved jobs, and talent opt-ins now resolve to one Rebuild Detroit workflow.01
Choose the employer workflow
Use the post-a-job guide when the role and application process are ready. Use hiring resources when the business needs candidate connections, talent strategy, interview support, or labor-market context. Use training or apprenticeship resources when the problem is a recurring skill gap rather than a single open position.
A career fair or recruitment event is another distinct workflow with its own organizer, schedule, audience, space, and participation rules. Confirm the current registration and event owner before advertising attendance. Rebuild Detroit does not reserve a booth or submit an employer request from this hub.
02
Prepare information agencies can act on
Document the legal employer name, public business name, location, industry, responsible contact, occupations, number of anticipated hires, schedule, compensation structure, essential qualifications, hiring timetable, and requested service. Accurate details let the agency route the inquiry and reduce avoidable follow-up.
Do not include applicant records, tax identifiers, account credentials, or sensitive personnel information in an unsolicited message or directory form. Use the agency's approved secure process after confirming the contact. Keep a record of what was submitted, by whom, and which organization accepted it.
03
Verify programs, funding, and provider claims
Employer training and support programs may have current eligibility, approval, timing, reporting, retention, or cost rules. A general state description does not establish that a particular employer or expense qualifies. Ask the program owner for current written requirements before making a commitment or public promise.
When selecting a school, consultant, recruiter, or apprenticeship partner, verify identity, authority, scope, fees, credential, and performance evidence. A Rebuild Detroit directory profile is not a procurement decision, continuous license monitor, background check, warranty, or guarantee of a provider's work.
04
Maintain truthful hiring and outcome records
Keep openings current and distinguish views, referrals, applications, interviews, offers, starts, and retained employees. Define each metric before reporting it. If a role closes or changes, update the official posting and notify active candidates through the employer's approved channel.
Use the source cards and focused Rebuild Detroit pages below to continue. Rebuild Detroit does not screen applicants, operate public workforce programs, fund training, or guarantee exposure, candidates, hires, or retention. The responsible employer and agency own the actual workflow and record.
