Michigan does not currently issue a state home inspector license, so look for membership in a national association with a published standard of practice, plus insurance. EGLE says radon testers are not licensed in Michigan and recommends NRPP or NRSB certification. Termite inspections fall under MDARD pesticide category 7B. Michigan's Seller Disclosure Act requires most residential sellers to give buyers a written disclosure statement.
