How to land a trade job in Detroit
- Lead with licenses and certifications. Put your driver's license, OSHA 10 or 30, welding certs, refrigerant certification or CDL at the top of your resume.

- Show reliability. Employers in the trades care about attendance and safety. Mention a clean safety record if you have one.
