What is there now

Standing

We checked building permits, sales, listings and the city's blight and demolition files on October 25, 2026. Nothing new at this address in the last two years.

The story

The house at 3435 Seminole St went up in 1922, during the boom years when the auto industry turned Detroit into one of the fastest growing cities in America.

It carries the name of Clarence J. McLeod.

The plans came from Louis Kamper.

Today it sits inside Indian Village, one of the blocks Detroit has chosen to protect.

Most homes like it are lived in, so enjoy it from the sidewalk.
