The story
The house at 206 Eliot St went up in 1901, during the boom years when the auto industry turned Detroit into one of the fastest growing cities in America.
It carries the name of Joseph F. Webber.
The plans came from /architects/j-f-webber-co, working in the Colonial Revival style.
Today it sits inside Brush Park, one of the blocks Detroit has chosen to protect.
Most homes like it are lived in, so enjoy it from the sidewalk.
