The story

In 1847, when Michigan was still a young state of farms, mills and river landings, Wolcott Mill opened in Ray Township.

It was built in the Greek Revival style, and it still reads that way from the sidewalk.

It joined the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Go see it at 63841 Wolcott Road. Photos never get the scale right.
