The story
Woodbridge Historic District is one of the places that gives Woodbridge its character.
It was built in the Second Empire style, and it still reads that way from the sidewalk.
It joined the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
Go see it at Bounded by Trumbull, Calumet, Gibson, Grand River, 12th W. Warren and Wabash Sts., railroad tracks, and Edsel Ford Expressway; also 4304-14 Trumbull Ave. and 3800 Grand River; also the southeastern corner of Trumbull and Warren. Photos never get the scale right.
Woodbridge is a historic neighborhood of primarily Victorian homes located in Detroit, Michigan. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, with later boundary increases in 1997 and 2008.
