What is there now

Standing

We checked building permits, sales, listings and the city's blight and demolition files on October 25, 2026. Nothing new at this address in the last two years.

The story

The house at 1111 Seminole St went up in 1906, during the boom years when the auto industry turned Detroit into one of the fastest growing cities in America.

It carries the name of Mary Holland.

The plans came from Rogers & MacFarlane.

Today it sits inside Indian Village, one of the blocks Detroit has chosen to protect.

Most homes like it are lived in, so enjoy it from the sidewalk.
