The story

In 1855, when Michigan was still a young state of farms, mills and river landings, Clinton Grove Cemetery opened in Mount Clemens.

It was built in the Tudor revival style, and it still reads that way from the sidewalk.

The National Register of Historic Places listed it in 1996.
