The story
In 1938, through the Depression, the war years and the postwar move to the suburbs, Lincoln Park Post Office opened in Lincoln Park.
It was built in the Classical Revival style, and it still reads that way from the sidewalk.
The National Register of Historic Places listed it in 2004.
